The DMA Store welcomes Mi Golondrina for a pop-up shop Friday, May 19 during Late Nights at the Dallas Museum of Art. Mi Golondrina is a Dallas-based clothier, headed by designer Cristina Lynch, featuring a line of traditional, hand-stitched Mexican blouses and dresses. The one-of-a-kind blouses, each with striking embroidery, are made by women in the small villages of Mexico.
A percentage of the profits will go toward the funding of the programs at the DMA.
Mi Golondrina’s pop-up shop will be just one of the many things to see and do during Late Night as the DMA celebrates the art and culture of Mexico in conjunction with the ongoing exhibition México 1900–1950: Diego Rivera, Frida Kahlo, José Clemente Orozco, and the Avant-Garde. You can find a full list here.
Admission to Late Night is $15. However, the DMA is offering a special offer on this night. If you come dressed as Frida Kahlo your ticket will only be $5.
We hope to see you there.
